Are concrete pool surrounds slippery when wet?
Properly done, they shouldn’t be. We use textured finishes like exposed aggregate or broomed concrete to improve grip. So, from start to “walk-ons” might be 2-3 days, but we ask for a week or so before heavy use if possible.
Can concrete be used with above-ground pools?
Absolutely. While above-ground pools often have simpler surrounding requirements, you can still use a concrete pool surround to give a clean, durable finish and connect the pool area to pathways, decks and landscaping.
